I will be mentoring two other teachers. We all agreed to this the first week of October, but are just now finding time to get together. We will meet tomorrow afternoon for the first time. I will show them igoogle, gmail, blogging (blogspot), and remind them of classjump. They will set up a google account, if needed. They will post their first blog. I will show them a few websites: alex, bubbl, and catpin. I will also show them the URL http://educate.intel.com/en/AssessingProjects/AssessmentStrategies/.
Goals to accomplish before we meet again: (1) They will utilize some of the websites while preparing their lessons during the coming weeks. (2) They will try to use at least one thing IN a lesson. (3) They will try to think of how students could USE or DO any of these things in the classroom.
