first mentoring meeting
Three teachers met together on Tuesday, October 20 for our first mentoring meeting. We met in the school math lab so we could all sit at computers together. First, we went to our igoogle accounts that we set up at our inservice before school started. Then, we chose themes for our igoogle home pages and put gadgets on there, as well. After that, we set up gmail accounts and tested them out. Lastly, we visited google docs and discussed the benefits of using it. For homework, the teachers are going to practice using gmail, writing and sharing google docs, and are checking out the following websites: catpin, bubbl, thinkfinity, and intel.
